Julie Butler, OTR Julie Butler, OTR is an Occupational Therapist with 17 years of experience evaluating
and treating children, adolescents and young adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. 16+ of those years were with
Children’s Hospital of Denver, where Julie was mentored by some of the most respected OTR specialists in sensory integration
theory and autism treatment such as Julia Wilbarger, Tracy Murnan Stackhouse, Clare Summers and Dr. Lucy Miller. At Children’s
Hospital, she was named an Advanced Practioner in the clinical area of sensory integration and held several team and department
leadership positions. Julie is certified to provide the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (S.I.P.T) which is considered the gold standard for
identifying sensory processing and related perceptual and coordination problems in children from 4 ½ to 9 years old. Julie is also
trained to provide treatment with the Integrated Listening Systems.
Julie’s expertise addresses a wide variety of diagnoses including: sensory-processing, autism, Asperger’s disorder,
feeding problems, cerebral palsy, traumatic head injury, spinal cord injury, psychiatric disorders, genetic disorders and developmental
delays. Julie’s primary interest areas are autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration and processing disorders, feeding problems
and early intervention. Julie enjoys treating patients of all ages and excels at improving function in everyday living skills while making therapy
fun and motivating for the client.
Julie is committed to a family-centered approach that addresses the client and family’s priorities. Together she helps create
agreed upon functional goals that provide meaningful change. Julie received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University.

Joanne Gesualdi Graham, OTR has over twenty years experience working with
infants, children and adults. She performs thorough evaluations in the areas of sensory
processing, gross, fine and visual motor skills. She is skilled at addressing the behavioral,
emotional and social impact of sensory processing. Joanne utilizes the child's interests,
along with the environment, games, rhythms and stories to make therapy a transformative
experience. She combines her knowledge of sensory processing, child development, handwriting,
sound therapy, social/emotional behavior, and neuro-developmental approaches to provide
