SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
Erin McClure has experience working with pediatric and adult patients with a range of speech and language needs. She brings warmth, creativity and compassion to her practice, and believes strongly in building off a client's strengths and making therapy both fun and functional. Erin received a BA in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master's degree in Speech, Language Pathology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Following her internship work at Denver General Hospital and Nederland Elementary, she relocated to San Francisco. While in the Bay Area, Erin worked in a private pediatric clinic with children ranging from 2 to 18 years old. In this role, she assessed and established functional therapy goals to address a wide range of motor speech, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic, oral-motor and articulation delays and disorders. She became close with many of these families and enjoyed watching her young clients' skills grow. Following her three years in the private clinic, she joined a small cross-disciplinary team of occupational, physical and speech therapists to provide in-home therapy for pediatric clients. Erin currently resides in Boulder, Colorado and is thrilled to be collaborating with the therapists at Colorado Therapies. When she is not working with clients, she can be found chasing her toddler, hiking, or in a yoga class. |
